OK, it's not exactly in the Lake District. In fact, it's not even in Cumbria, nestling as it does just over the border into North Yorkshire, but it's a course that again fits the bill for a cracking day away. Extended just a few years ago to 18, unlike others that have suffered the same fate it's almost impossible to see the join. Always well presented with great greens it also sits in a quiet, rural setting and offers superb views across to the Three Peaks. Always on our golfing calendar.
"Played Bentham at the AM-AM and it is a great, great course. Not overly long but it was great fun to play and caught most of our team unawares at some point. Fine clubhouse, nice people and a great golf course = a lovely day out." - UK Golf Guide
