Sedbergh Golf Club

Call us golfing snobs, but we don't generally do 9 hole courses, but we're happy to make an exception for what is an exceptional course. Although still in Cumbria, it sits within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and has the River Rawthey running around and through it.

Strictly speaking it's a 10 hole course and has alternative tees for each half so some holes can appear completely different second time round. A more peaceful and tranquil setting it would be hard to find, but don't relax too much - this is also a real golf course!

"Absolute must play 9 hole course, with some tee changes to make a slightly different experience should you want to do the full 18. Not an easy course, but never the less an enjoyable trip out." - UK Golf Guide

"Overall, this is a marvellous nine hole course which makes best use of the stunning natural landscape and is well worth a visit." - UK Golf Guide
