A flat and easy walking parkland course, flanked by the Rivers Kent and Sprint. It has relatively small greens, narrow tree and hedge lined fairways and, of course, lots of water, all of which put a premium on accuracy.
Regarded as probably the friendliest club in the area, it also has one of the best stocked and largest shops and a state of the art covered driving range. The brand new clubhouse has just opened meaning Carus Green now boasts some of the best facilities you'll find anywhere!
"Carus Green Golf Club was really fun. The people were nice and helpful and the course was lovely. Challenging-but not too challenging. We'd be happy to return." - Paula, 2011
"with eleven other golfers I played here and all of us had a great golfing experience... met in the club shop (one of the best I have seen at a golf course) by the pro and his staff who couldn't do enough for us set the tone for the day. I used the driving range, again first class. played the course o.k. it's not Carnoustie, but it's a good test you can easily lose 2 or 3 shots on quite a few holes. very flat, great views, excellent condition. other users of course be they members or pay and play were very friendly not one passed my group without asking how we was (sic) or a hello." - UK Golf Guide.
